The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, has extended warm greetings and best wishes to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora as the nation celebrates its 66th Independence Anniversary.


In his Independence Day message, Prof. Pate described the occasion as an opportunity to reflect on Nigeria’s journey, celebrate the resilience of its people and renew the collective commitment to building a healthier, stronger and more prosperous nation.


He emphasised the importance of peace, unity, responsible citizenship and sustained efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of Nigerians.


Prof. Pate also called for continued collective efforts towards creating a Nigeria where every citizen has greater opportunities to live a healthy, productive and dignified life.


He wished Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Independence Day celebration, praying for continued peace, stability, unity and prosperity across the nation.
