As Nigeria marks its 66th Independence Anniversary, the Bala Wunti – North East Celebrities Movement (BW-NECMAC) joins millions of Nigerians across the country in celebrating the nation’s journey since independence.

The anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on Nigeria’s history, appreciate the sacrifices of its founding generation and renew the collective commitment to building a peaceful, united and prosperous nation.

For BW-NECMAC, the celebration is also a moment to emphasise the important role of young people, creative professionals, celebrities and community leaders in shaping Nigeria’s future.

Under the banner of “For Asiwaju Continuity,” the movement highlights the importance of unity, responsible citizenship and constructive participation in national development.

The 66th Independence Anniversary comes with a renewed call for Nigerians to look beyond differences and recognise the strength that lies in the country’s diversity.

BW-NECMAC believes that the future of Nigeria depends not only on government institutions, but also on the contributions of citizens who use their talents, platforms and influence to promote peace, unity, creativity and development.

The movement also celebrates the vision and leadership associated with Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti, whose initiatives have placed emphasis on youth development, education and community advancement. His commitment to investing in people is reflected in initiatives such as Wunti International Academy.

As Nigeria celebrates 66 years of independence, BW-NECMAC calls for greater cooperation among Nigerians and continued efforts towards creating opportunities for young people and strengthening the foundations of national development.

🇳🇬 Happy 66th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria!

One Nation. One People. One Future.
