As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu seeks a second term in 2027, the visible involvement of Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti in the political process has attracted significant attention, particularly in Bauchi and the wider North-East.


Tinubu has secured the APC presidential ticket for the 2027 election, while reports have also highlighted calls for Wunti to play a role in the party’s campaign structure.
