In a goodwill message released on Friday, Prof. Pate called on Nigerians to continue supporting initiatives aimed at national growth and transformation while praying for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for the nation's leaders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He encouraged Nigerians to use the blessings of the holy day to seek Allah’s mercy upon the nation and to pray for greater prosperity, harmony, and success in all sectors of national life.
Prof. Pate further urged citizens to remain hopeful and united in the pursuit of a stronger Nigeria, noting that sustainable development can only be achieved through cooperation, resilience, and shared national purpose.
As Muslims observe the sacred Friday prayers, the Minister prayed for Allah’s continued blessings upon Nigeria, its people, and its leadership.
