The Chief Executive Officer of the World Energy Council Nigeria, Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti, has extended warm Jumma’ah greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and beyond, urging citizens to remain steadfast in prayers for peace, unity, prosperity, and national development.

Dr. Wunti, who recently assumed leadership of World Energy Council Nigeria, called on Nigerians to continue supporting efforts aimed at strengthening the nation's economy, energy security, and overall development while seeking Allah’s guidance for leaders at all levels.

According to him, the blessings of Jumma’ah provide an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the values that unite Nigerians regardless of ethnic, religious, or political differences.

He emphasized the need for citizens to pray for wisdom, strength, and success for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders entrusted with the responsibility of steering the affairs of the nation, noting that national progress requires collective sacrifice, understanding, and constructive engagement from all stakeholders.

The energy expert and philanthropist further encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful about the future, stressing that unity, hard work, and faith remain critical ingredients for building a stronger and more prosperous nation.

"As we observe this blessed Friday, let us continue to pray for peace, stability, and progress in our dear country. May Almighty Allah guide our leaders, bless our nation, and grant us a future filled with greater opportunities and shared prosperity," he said.

Dr. Wunti was recently appointed as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of World Energy Council Nigeria, a development widely regarded as a significant milestone for Nigeria's participation in global energy dialogue and sustainable development initiatives.
