Ibrahim Kabir Masari Joins Presidential Delegation to Convey President Tinubu’s Condolences to Sheikh Yahaya Jingir


 

Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters, was among a high-level Federal Government delegation that visited renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Yahaya Jingir at his residence in Jos, Plateau State, to convey the condolences of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, following the passing of Hafiz Bala Yusuf (Ma’aji).


The delegation was led by His Excellency Mai Mala Buni, Executive Governor of Yobe State, and included His Excellency Malam Uba Sani, Executive Governor of Kaduna State; Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters; and Dr. Muttaka Rabe Darma, Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development, among other dignitaries.


The delegation conveyed President Tinubu’s heartfelt condolences to Sheikh Yahaya Jingir, the bereaved family, and the wider Muslim community over the death of Hafiz Bala Yusuf (Ma’aji).


During the visit, members of the delegation paid tribute to the deceased, recognising his contributions to Islamic scholarship, religious learning, and the spiritual life of the Muslim community.


Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari’s presence among the presidential delegation further reflected the importance attached to engaging with religious leaders and communities during moments of grief and national significance.


The delegation offered prayers for Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, have mercy upon him and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Prayers were also offered for the family, associates, students and the entire Muslim Ummah to be granted strength, patience and divine comfort in the face of the loss.


The condolence visit highlighted the Federal Government’s engagement with Islamic scholars and religious leaders in matters concerning peace, unity, mutual understanding and national cohesion.


The presence of senior government officials from different parts of the country also underscored the national significance of the condolence visit and the importance of solidarity with religious communities at times of bereavement.


For Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, participation in the delegation was part of his official responsibilities and a demonstration of solidarity with Sheikh Yahaya Jingir, the bereaved family and the wider Muslim community on behalf of the Presidency.


May Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of Hafiz Bala Yusuf (Ma’aji), grant him Jannatul Firdaus, illuminate and widen his grave, and grant his family, associates, students and the entire Muslim Ummah the fortitude to bear this painful loss.
