Engr. Sulaiman Da’u Aliyu Mourns Emir of Gumel, Describes His Passing as a Great Loss to Nigeria

Prominent politician and aspiring member of the House of Representatives for Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency, Engr. Sulaiman Da’u Aliyu, popularly known as Hasken Birnin Kudu da Buji, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Emir of Gumel, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Sani II, CON.
In a condolence message, Engr. Sulaiman described the late monarch as an exceptional traditional ruler whose life was dedicated to the service of humanity, peace, unity, and the development of society.
He noted that the Emir's death is a painful loss not only to the people of the Gumel Emirate and Jigawa State but also to the entire nation, considering his invaluable contributions to leadership, community development, and national cohesion.
“The passing of His Royal Highness is a monumental loss. Nigeria has lost a respected elder statesman, a wise leader, and a father figure whose legacy will continue to inspire generations,” he stated.
Engr. Sulaiman extended his heartfelt condolences to the royal family, the people of Gumel Emirate, the Government and people of Jigawa State, and all Nigerians mourning the revered monarch.
He prayed that Almighty Allah forgives the late Emir, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and gives his family and loved ones the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
