The Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kudu, Dr. Adamu Abdullahi Atterwahmie, has been officially confirmed as a Fellow of the Academy of Innovative Research, Science & Technological Development (ACIRSTD).


The confirmation was conveyed in an official communication dated 21 September 2026 by the Academy’s Fellowship Committee, following the approval of the Board of Directors and the Committee.


According to the communication, Dr. Atterwahmie has been admitted as a FARST Fellow — Fellow of the Academy of Researcher, Scientist and Technologist, in recognition of his professional contributions and commitment to the advancement of research, science, technology and healthcare development.


The prestigious fellowship adds to Dr. Atterwahmie’s growing record of professional achievements and reflects the recognition of his dedication to strengthening healthcare services and promoting excellence in his field.


The management and staff of the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kudu, as well as colleagues, friends and well-wishers, have extended their congratulations to the Medical Director on this remarkable achievement.
