CMDs’ COMMITTEE CONGRATULATES PROF. HADIZA ABDULLAHI USMAN ON FPA LONDON ‘EPITOME OF HUMILITY’ AWARD


 


Abuja — The Chairman of the Committee of Chief Medical Directors and Medical Directors of Federal Tertiary Hospitals in Nigeria (Committee of CMDs), Prof. Saad Ahmed, has congratulated the Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Nguru, Prof. Hadiza Abdullahi Usman, on her conferment with the prestigious Foreign Press Association (FPA), London Award of “Epitome of Humility.”


Prof. Ahmed described the recognition as a fitting and well-deserved honour for a distinguished medical professional and administrator whose leadership has been defined by humility, compassion, excellence and an unwavering commitment to public healthcare.


In a congratulatory message, the Committee Chairman said the award was particularly significant because it recognised not only Prof. Hadiza’s professional accomplishments, but also the human qualities that have characterised her years of dedicated service to the Nigerian healthcare system.


According to him, true leadership goes beyond professional achievements, noting that humility, empathy and commitment to service are essential qualities that inspire others and contribute to the development of the healthcare sector.


Prof. Ahmed commended Prof. Hadiza for her outstanding contributions to healthcare delivery and expressed confidence that the recognition would further inspire her to continue her exemplary service to humanity.


He wished the Medical Director greater success and prayed that Allah would continue to grant her wisdom, strength and good health in her service to the nation.
