 By Insight Tribune News

In this exclusive conversation with Insight Tribune News, respected community leader and public affairs commentator, Alh. Kamalu Dan Minister, shared his thoughts on the establishment of Wunti International Academy by the Chief Executive Officer of World Energy Council Nigeria, Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti.

Insight Tribune News:

What is your assessment of the Wunti International Academy project?

Alh. Kamalu Dan Minister:

Honestly, this is one of the most important community development projects I have seen in recent years. Many people invest in businesses, properties and other ventures, but investing in education is investing in the future itself. The establishment of Wunti International Academy is a project that will benefit generations yet unborn.

Insight Tribune News:

Why do you consider the project significant?

Alh. Kamalu Dan Minister:

Because education remains the foundation of every successful society. When you provide quality education, you are creating future doctors, engineers, teachers, entrepreneurs, leaders and innovators. What Dr. Bala Wunti is doing is not just building classrooms; he is helping to shape the future of thousands of children.

Insight Tribune News:

Some people have described the project as a legacy initiative. Do you agree?

Alh. Kamalu Dan Minister:

Absolutely. Legacies are not measured by the wealth we accumulate but by the positive impact we leave behind. Long after today, people will remember that a son of Wunti Community invested in the education of future generations. That is a legacy that will continue to speak for itself.

Insight Tribune News:

What impressed you most about Dr. Bala Wunti's vision?

Alh. Kamalu Dan Minister:

What impressed me most is his desire to bring world-class education directly into the community. He could have established the school anywhere, but he chose Wunti because he understands the importance of giving back to the people who contributed to his journey. That demonstrates humility, gratitude and genuine leadership.

Insight Tribune News:

What impact do you think the academy will have on Bauchi State?

Alh. Kamalu Dan Minister:

I believe the impact will be enormous. The academy will raise educational standards, create employment opportunities, attract educational experts and provide children with access to quality learning without necessarily travelling far from home. It will also inspire other successful individuals to invest in similar projects.

Insight Tribune News:

Do you have a message for the people of Bauchi regarding this initiative?

Alh. Kamalu Dan Minister:

My message is simple. We should support initiatives that promote education and community development. Wunti International Academy belongs not only to Wunti Community but to the entire Bauchi State. If we collectively support it, future generations will reap the benefits.

Insight Tribune News:

Any final words for Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti?

Alh. Kamalu Dan Minister:

I congratulate Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti for this visionary project. His commitment to education, youth development and community advancement deserves appreciation. I pray that Almighty Allah continues to guide and strengthen him as he works to create opportunities for others. The people of Bauchi are proud of this initiative, and I believe history will remember it as one of his most impactful contributions to society.
