PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES CHAIRMAN ABDULRAZAQ ISA, CEO BALA WUNTI AND THE INAUGURAL BOARD OF WORLD ENERGY COUNCIL NIGERIA


 President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has warmly welcomed Nigeria's admission into the prestigious World Energy Council (WEC), describing it as a landmark achievement for the nation's energy sector and international standing.


The President congratulated the Chairman of the World Energy Council Nigeria, Abdulrazaq Isa, the Chief Executive Officer, Bala Maijama’a Wunti, and members of the inaugural board for their dedication and commitment in securing this historic milestone.


According to the President, Nigeria's membership of the World Energy Council will strengthen the country's role in shaping global energy policies, promoting sustainable development, and attracting strategic investments into the energy industry.


President Tinubu expressed confidence that the leadership of Abdulrazaq Isa and Bala Wunti will drive innovation, collaboration, and impactful reforms that will position Nigeria as a major player in the global energy landscape.


The admission of Nigeria into the World Energy Council marks a new chapter of opportunity, partnership, and progress for the nation as it advances its energy transition agenda and economic development goals.
