Bauchi Government Presents Toyota Hilux to State Fire Service
The Bauchi State Government has presented a Toyota Hilux utility vehicle to the Bauchi State Fire Service as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen its operations and enhance its capacity to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies across the state.
The vehicle was presented by the Bauchi State Ministry of Works and Transport to the Director of the Bauchi State Fire Service, Builder Dauda Bala Pali.
Presenting the vehicle, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Engr. Hamisu Mohammed Garba, urged the Fire Service to use the vehicle strictly for official duties and ensure that it contributes meaningfully to the effective discharge of its responsibilities.
Engr. Hamisu stated that the state government had also provided firefighting equipment to selected Local Government Areas across the state, reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthening fire prevention, emergency preparedness and response mechanisms.
In his response, the Director of the Bauchi State Fire Service, Builder Dauda Bala Pali, expressed appreciation to the Bauchi State Government for providing the utility vehicle and for its continued support towards improving the operations of the service.
He explained that the vehicle would complement the day-to-day activities of the Fire Service and enhance its ability to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies across the state.
Builder Bala Pali assured the Ministry that the vehicle would be properly maintained and used strictly for the purpose for which it was provided. He further commended the Bauchi State Government for its continued commitment to improving the capacity, effectiveness and overall operations of the State Fire Service.
